With a nine years history behind us, it is with justifiable pride that I, as Chairman of the NCASL, welcome you to the “Construct 2010 Exhibition.” This is a very special year for the CONSTRUCT as it is celebrating the 10th Anniversary and the ground is being prepared for the grandest constructionrelated annual exhibition "Construct 2010" to be held in August at the BMICH for the 10th successive year.
“Construct 2010,” is an exclusive meeting-point of suppliers of material and machinery of the Construction Industry and those engaged in all sectors of the Construction Industry of Sri Lanka which include mega-construction industrialists as well as housebuilders and individuals involved and interested in construction. In short, “Construct 2010” showcases the best, the latest and the most appropriate offered by suppliers, service providers and other stakeholders which should serve as a great impetus for the construction community.
So let us pool all resources to make the “Construct 2010” the event of the year.

With the celebration of the 10 Anniversary this year, we have reached a milestone. While I welcome you to the exhibition on behalf of the Construct Organizing Committee of National Construction Association of Sri Lanka, I hope all roads in the construction sector lead to the exhibition venue at the BMICH. It is with pride and pleasure that I record that the “Construct 2010” today is the most important event in the annual construction calendar as it reflects the latest and the most appropriate material and machinery of both local and foreign makes of the construction industry.
"Construct 2010" with over 260 stalls also includes a special enclosure-a gallery for the suppliers and service providers to exhibit their latest and gleaming state-of-the-art machinery and equipment to update the construction community of the latest products, services and futuristic trends in the construction industry. "Construct 2010" going international, has included more stalls than last year from other countries with whom the NCASL and the construction community of Sri Lanka have trade links.
Therefore, let us hope that "Construct 2010" will be instrumental in raising the standards of the construction industry and be a partner in the task of building the nation.
