“Construct 2011”, which is Sri Lanka's largest and most prestigious construction industry related exhibition will be held on 19th, 20th & 21st August 2011 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial International Exhibition Center in Colombo, at a time of a boom in the Construction Industry is in operation.

Organized by the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) for the eleventh consecutive year, Construct 2011 will bring together builders, architects, engineers, contractors, developers, consultants, interior designers, quantity surveyors among many others in what is expected to be a most comprehensive construction trade exhibition in the country.

This year's exhibition will feature over two hundred and fifty local and foreign exhibitors while showcasing the achievements of Sri Lanka's construction Industry and will function as a vibrant networking platform and resource center for all construction industry related players in the whole of the Asia Pacific region.

The main objective of the exhibition is to develop the construction industry in Sri Lanka by introducing world-class products, services and state-of-the-art technology.

The exhibition will concurrently provide an opportunity for exhibitors to display the latest range of products and services to an ideal target audience whilst enabling them to make new and vital business contacts specially during the post war era where the Government of Sri Lanka is embarking on ambitious development plans, which would pave the way to the access for new markets, increase brand awareness, review competitor activities etc.

Construct Exhibition organized consecutively since 2001 by the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka, is a unique concept for promotion and linkage among industry stakeholders and has grown from strength to strength continuously over the years, showcasing an impressive range of top quality exhibits as voted by and innumerable number of visitors.

Construct which is designed to enhance the capacities and competitiveness of the domestic construction industry and is projected as Sri Lanka's most prestigious, business prevalent and largest exhibition for the construction and building technologies, equipment and machinery, building materials and service industries will be presented for the 11th consecutive year from 19th to 21st August 2011 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial International Exhibition Center in Colombo. it will also serve as a platform to attract foreign investment for infrastructure development promoting Sri Lanka as one of the best investment zones. With the wide scale of preparation that underway, we are very confident that Construct 2011 will be the event to watch out for in the Construction Industry.

With the ongoing North and East reconstruction activities in Sri Lanka necessitating major reconstruction and rehabilitation work in infrastructure, housing and other facilities, we anticipate a soaring demand for building material, equipment and construction technologies in the immediate future we are sure that Construct 2011 will pave the way for H.E. the President’s dreams of a new Sri Lanka.
