As the Chairman of National Construction Association of Sri Lanka I am happy to announce that the time is approaching once again to exhibit the latest technology, goods & services available to the general public. The ground is being prepared for the grandest construction-related annual exhibition “Construct 2015”. It will be held in August at the BMICH for the 14th successive year. The 38th Mid Term Board Meeting of the International Federation of Asian & Western Pacific Contractors’ Association (IFAWPCA) has also been arranged to be held in Colombo during the same period. IFAWPCA membership comprises sixteen countries from the Asian & Pacific regions, and is linked to other Constructors’ Associations in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas. This link is through the Confederation of International Contractors’ Association (CICA). We have invited HE the President of Sri Lanka for the Inauguration Ceremony of the Exhibition and are indeed proud to state that His Excellency will probably participate and grace the occasion as in the past.

 

“Construct” Exhibition has become the foremost event in Sri Lanka because it draws together all sectors of the construction-community and the entire value chain of the industry under one roof. As you are aware this is the largest and the most representative construction-related exhibition in Sri Lanka.

 

The “Construct 2015” Exhibition will feature all major facets of construction, including building materials, construction equipment, professional services, information technology, hardware products, interiors, exteriors, plumbing, walls, floors and windows etc.

 

The National Construction Association of Sri Lanka actively strives for continuous improvement in standards and practices and most specifically enhanced services and facilities to the stall holders. We spare no effort in ensuring that “Construct 2015” reaches the highest success in the series.

 

Construct Exhibition has surpassed all other exhibitions held in Sri Lanka. The improvement that take place year after year is remarkable. It is my endeavour to continue the same trend with much vigor in the future as well.

On behalf of the Construct Exhibition Organizing Committee, it is indeed a pleasure to welcome all of you to the Construct 2015 exhibition this year as well.

 

With bookings for stalls already flowing in, predictions are that the annual exhibition “Construct 2015” to be held for the 14th consecutive year in August 2015 at the BMICH will once again break all records. I am proud to state that last year, we had 300 stalls at the exhibition representing the entire value chain of the construction industry and depicting the most developed and the latest trends and services in the Construction Industry. I would also like to mention that the entire venue was filled with stalls and a huge number of spectators from all walks of life flocking to see the Sri Lanka’s No. 1 Construction Exhibition.

 

The “Construct 2015” too promises to be an enriched experience attracting the most discerning while contributing in great measure to elevate the standards of the construction-industry.

 

At a time when emphasis is placed extensively on development whilst construction activity is heavily focused, the relevance of “Construct 2014” need not be stressed at this juncture. The NCASL on it’s part will, as customary, play it’s role in organising the most represented and the best organised exhibition in the island.

 

I consider it a privilege and an honour as the Chairman of the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka Central Province Branch to head the Organizing Committee of the prestigious “Construct 2015”. I’m confident that this exhibition will no doubt surpass the previous records and emerge once again as the most successful development oriented exhibition in the country.
