| Post –Tsunami Housing Reconstruction Programme: |
| The objective of this programme is to provide better and decent shelter to the families whose houses were lost or damaged by the Tsunami. The programme is expected to reconstruct or repair around 114,000 houses in the Tsunami affected coastal belt. |

| The objective of this programme is to provide permanent shelter for IDPs living in welfare camps in the Puttalam district. |

| Housing for Urban Under-Served Families: |
This project is expected to provide housing facilities on concessionary terms for about 2,700 families living in under – served settlements in Colombo and suburbs.
